
On 21st April 2021, EMGS did an engagement visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Malaysia. The discussions focused on various issues of mutual interest aimed at enhancing strategic cooperation between both parties particularly on education and issues relating to the International Student Pass. His Excellency also shared the current COVID-19 situations in Kazakhstan and how its effect international travel policies between both countries. His Excellency also expressed his interest to explore and strengthened collaboration between institution from both countries particularly on Hospitality, Information Technology and Halal management field.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Bulat Sugurbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Malaysia. Also, presence during the meeting are Mr. Rustem Jamankulov (Counsellor) and Mr. Kuanysh Kashabay (Second Secretary).
EMGS representatives who attended the meeting was led by Mr. Mohd Radzlan Jalaludin (EMGS CEO) along with Mr. Ramlan Abd. Aziz (Director, ISMS), Mr. Syed Mohsen Alkaff (Head, Stakeholders Management) and Mr. Raja Muhamad Fariz Bin Raja Eyuddin (Assistant Regional Marketing Manager – Central Asia).
