Overview

The Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering) (Hons) is offered by the Department of Computing CCI. The programme focuses on the practical and theoretical dimensions of computer science, and prepares students to become software engineers who can plan, design, construct and maintain the software in various environment including stand-alone, web-based system, mobile application, cloud environment, and other platforms. This programme is designed to produce graduates who are in-demand by the industry due to their ability to produce quality software through the use of excellent principles and technique's of analysis, design, development and testing. This makes UNITEN software engineering graduates are highly paid and sought after on the labour market. This programme has strong professional bodies support to align with the needs of the fourth industrial revolution (IR 4.0). The collaboration between universities and the industry is increasingly perceived as a way to enhance innovation through knowledge exchange therefore, this programme also provides opportunity for students to work with our industry partners for their final year projects.
