Bachelor of Hospitality Management(Hons)
Overview
The Bachelor of Hospitality Management (Honours) programme is designed to prepare students for management-related work in the hospitality sector. It combines theory and practice to give students the chance to apply their knowledge, making use of case studies, practical engagement and site visits. Critical soft skills are embedded in the coursework.The programme also paves the way for students to develop an analytical mindset that will be crucial for managers and leaders in the field. Core components of the three-year undergraduate programme incorporate industry input that exposes our students to real-life situations.Graduates may become accomplished managers, capable of working across a range of public and private enterprises including leisure facilities, hotels, theme parks as well as event management.
Entry Requirements
Matriculation / FoundationPass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent;Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)Pass with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects or their equivalent;Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)Pass with a minimum grade of Jayyid or its equivalent;Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)Pass with a minimum Grade B in five (5) subjectsDiploma Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent.Other QualificationsAny other equivalent qualifications accepted by the HEP’s Senate.English Proficiency for International StudentsA minimum score of 5.0 in IELTS ORMalaysian University English Test (MUET) with Band 3.5ORAny other equivalent qualifications accepted by the HEP’s Senate.
