Diploma in Human Resource Management
Overview
The Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) is designed to cater to the needs of those seeking career as junior executives in HRM, in both business and non-business organisations. In order to qualify for the diploma, a minimum of 90 credit hours of approved courses must be completed.
Entry Requirements
Normal Entry
i. SPM* or equivalent with minimum 3 credits; or
ii. Pass STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject; or
iii. Pass STAM with minimum grade of Maqbul; or
iv. Pass SKM Level 3 in related field; AND
• SPM* with minimum a credit in 1 subject; AND
• Through consolidation programs (if necessary) or
v. Pass certificate (MQF Level 3) or equivalent; or
vi. Pass UEC with minimum Grade B in 3 subjects; or
vii. Pass O-Level with minimum Grade C in 3 subjects; or
viii. Pass Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in related field; AND
• SPM* with minimum a credit in 1 subject; AND
• Through consolidation programs (if necessary) or
ix. Other recognised equivalent qualifications.
SPM * = means passing SPM with at least a pass in Bahasa Melayu and History.
APEL entry
• Malaysian; and
• Candidate must be 20 years old and above in the year of application being made; and
• Have previous working experience/learning relevant to the field applied; and
• Pass APEL Assessment for a Diploma (conducted by OUM).
English language competency requirements for international students: Minimum IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
