Diploma in Medical Sciences

Overview

This diploma offers students foundational knowledge in medical sciences including anatomy, microbiology, and clinical skills. Combining lectures, lab sessions, and project-based learning, the programme prepares students for roles in medical diagnostics and healthcare or further studies in health sciences.

Entry Requirements

SPM/equivalent: Five (5) credits including Malay, English, Mathematics, one Science subject (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science / Applied Science), and one other subject.GCE O-Level/equivalent: Grade C in English, Mathematics, one Science subject, and two other subjects.MQF Level-3 Certificate (Health Sciences): Minimum CGPA 2.75.MQF Level-3 Polytechnic Certificate (related fields): Minimum CGPA 2.00.SKM Level-3 (related fields): SPM with one (1) Credit and consolidation programme where necessary.MARA Skills Institute Certificate (MQF Level-3): Minimum CGPA 2.00.UEC: Grade B in three (3) subjects.Other qualifications: Recognised as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
