Overview

Bachelor in Information and Communication Technology programme will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience across a wide spectrum of disciplines and enhance your analytical skills. In the Management Information System major, you will learn web programming, information system auditing, network and data security, also information protection, while in the Multimedia major you will learn digital video technology, user interface design, multimedia application development, interactive media and mobile learning. Expand your learning experiences by undergoing the MSU Global Mobility Programme where you spend a semester or more abroad at one of MSU’s international partner universities. You may also have the option of completing your internship overseas through MSU Global Internship Programme. Both these mobility programmes will further enhance your future employability.

Entry Requirements

Pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; ORPass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; ORDiploma in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology / Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; ORAny other Diploma in science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.The credit in Mathematics at SPM level can be waived if the qualification contains equivalent or higher-level Mathematics.Candidates with a credit in computing-related subject at SPM or STPM level or equivalent may be given preferential consideration.International students must have IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.
