Bachelor in Education (Science) (Hons)

Overview

This honours degree programme prepares students to become science educators at the secondary school level. The curriculum balances scientific knowledge with education theory, enabling future teachers to engage students in meaningful scientific learning. Students gain a strong foundation in key scientific disciplines and classroom management practices through MSU’s holistic teaching approach.

Entry Requirements

Passed SPM with Honors in Bahasa Malaysia; ANDPassed STPM with a C (2.00 CGPA) in two (2) subjects; or a C in two (2) subjects including General Studies / General Paper and a D in two (2) other subjects; ORPassed STAM with Jayyid; ORPassed Basic Certificate / Foundation / Matriculation / Diploma in a related field with at least 2.00 CGPA from 4.00; ORPassed the MSU Diploma in Early Childhood Education with at least 2.00 CGPA; ORPassed A-Level with a Full Pass in three (3) subjects; ORPassed South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with a score of at least 65-70%; ORPassed Canadian Pre-University Program (CPU) with a score of at least 80%; ORPassed UEC with a B in five (5) subjects; ORAny other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
