Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons)
Overview
This programme offers specific knowledge of accounting, finance, taxation, auditing, costing, management and economics. The aims of the programme are to produce competent and dedicated accountants who possess the attributes and skills required in the accounting profession and to develop a holistic understanding of business operations, particularly in all functional areas of accounting. Through Industrial Placement at established corporations, students will be able to have valuable hands-on experience in real-life working environments. The programme is recognised by professional bodies such as the ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia and MICPA.
Entry Requirements
STPM
Minimum 2 Principal Passes
STAM
Minimum grade of Jayyid, credit in Mathematics and pass in English at SPM level; or
A-Level
Minimum 2 Principal Passes (D) and a C in O-Level Mathematics
UEC
Minimum 5Bs (including Mathematics and pass in English); or
Diploma/HND
Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with CGPA 2.50 and credit in Mathematics and pass English in SPM; or
Foundation/Matriculation
Pass Matriculation/Foundation with CGPA 2.50 and credit in Mathematics and pass English in SPM; or
SAM/HSC/AUSMAT
TER/UAI: Average of 65% or higher in 5 subjects (including Mathematics)
CPU/CIMP
Average of 60% or higher in 6 subjects (including Mathematics)
IB
26 points or higher based on 6 subjects
