1. PURPOSE

i. The purpose of this bulletin is to provide an update on the bulletin sent on 5^th December 2023 titled “Social Visit Pass (Graduate Pass) for International Students and their Dependents”.

2. IMPLEMENTATION

2.1.  Ministry of Home Affairs of Malaysia (MoHA) through a letter with referral number KDN.IM.S.600-1/3/43 JLD.7(4) dated 6^th February 2024 has extended the facility of Social Visit Pass (Graduate Pass) to China and India nationals.

2.2.  The extension of this facility to China and India nationals is until 31^st December 2024 and it will be on a case-by-case basis according to the additional requirement as below:

1.  Applicant must not be convicted with any charges of breaking the law in Malaysia.
2.  If 2.2.1 is applicable, the applicant is required to obtain a letter of good conduct from both the Education Institute and the respective Embassy.

2.3.  The facility of the Social Visit Pass is also provided to the dependents of the Social Visit Pass (Graduate Pass) holders.
