NOTIFICATION ON THE SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT OF IKAD RENEWAL (IKRE) APPLICATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WHO HAVE RECEIVED STUDENT PASS FOR ENTIRE COURSE DURATION

1. PURPOSE

1.1 The purpose of this bulletin is to provide updates on the system enhancement for the iKad renewal form for International Students who have been granted a student pass for the duration of their course. 

1.2  We have added the additional fields in iKad renewal form to capture the International Students’ academic grade, attendance and insurance coverage for those who opted their Education Institution’s own group insurance policies. 
 

2. IMPLEMENTATION

2.1 Effective 8th May 2023, Education Institutions will be required to fill out these additional mandatory fields when applying ikad renewal form. The additional fields consist of the following: 

• Grade – International Students’ academic grade, Eg: 4.0, 2.88, 1.568, GAGAL, LULUS, IP
• Attendance – International Students’ academic attendance, Eg: 85%, 90.95%, NA
• Insurance Start date – Insurance Policy start date. This field will be displayed if the student opted for their own group insurance or alternate insurance.
• Insurance End Date – Insurance Policy end date. This field will be displayed if the student opted for their own group insurance or alternate insurance.
