WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE: THE FIRST STUDY IN MALAYSIA GLOBAL ALUMNI NETWORKING DINNER IN MALAYSIA

KUALA LUMPUR, 7th DECEMBER 2022 – Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) is honoured to organise its first Study in Malaysia Global Alumni Networking Dinner in Malaysia at The Westin Kuala Lumpur today. The event successfully hosted more than 60 international alumni from more than 10 countries around the world who have studied and currently working in Malaysia.

It was the first international alumni event in Malaysia for the year and the dinner aimed to bring together alumni to rekindle memories and reminisce about their study journey in Malaysia. As part of the regular engagement with the Study in Malaysia alumni, EMGS has been hosting networking events to engage with alumni around the world.

The momentous event kicked off with a welcome address by Mr. Mohd Radzlan Bin Jalaludin (the Chief Executive Officer of EMGS) followed by the cultural performances and a special sharing session by the alumni. Prof. Dr. Azrin Esmady Ariffin (Vice Chancellor, SEGi University) and Dato Rosli Yusof (Senior Vice President, Endowment & Communication, Management & Science University) were among the VIPs present at the dinner.

The two alumni who shared their stories in the sharing session during the dinner were Mr. Karim Sherif from Egypt, who are currently working as the Geotechnical Engineer at HACENT Consultant Sdn. Bhd. and Ms. Joann Enriquez from the Philippines, the Chief Executive Officer of IAP Ventures.

According to Mr. Mohd Radzlan Bin Jalaludin, “We are delighted to meet our alumni around the world. Now, we are happy to be able to connect with our alumni who are currently working in Malaysia and hear their stories.” “With the multiple roles they contributed to the society today, they will be a perfect role model to our current students to achieve the same success as they did. They are also the living proof that Malaysia offers a world-class education and indeed our higher education institutions have produced successful alumni.” he added.

Through this initiative, EMGS aims to empower the Study in Malaysia brand in Malaysia and anywhere in the world. EMGS looks forward to connect and host more events with our Global Alumni around the world.
