NOTIFICATION ON EMGS OPERATING PROCEDURES DURING ENDEMIC TRANSITION PHASE

1. PURPOSE

1.1 This information is a follow-up bulletin on EMGS Operating Procedures for Movement Control Order 3.0 dated 12th August 2021 and is intended to notify all Educational Institutions regarding the latest update on EMGS operating procedures during endemic transition phase as recently announced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia
 

2. IMPLEMENTATION

2.1 Effective 14th March 2022, EMGS will resume operating all services that were previously halted to minimise personal contact / interaction at the EMGS One-Stop Centre at Menara TA One.

No Process Measures
1 Application Submission EMGS will accept hardcopy documents for application submission. EMGS would like to remind all Education Institutions that they are able to upload the supporting documents for IM14 and IM55 applications via the EMGS STAR System.
2 Additional Documents EMGS will accept hardcopy for additional documents. Kindly note that Education Institutions are also able to submit the additional documents via email to EMGS.
3 Enquiries Education Institutions or students may walk in the EMGS Front desk counter for enquiries.
4 Collection of Medical Cards & iKad EMGS will continue to adopt cashless transactions at the Education Institutions can collect the Medical cards and the iKads through the EMGS Mail Drop counter. EMGS will only courier the Medical cards and the iKads to the Education Institutions that selected the option for courier.
5 Payment EMGS will continue to adopt cashless transactions at the EMGS One Stop Centre. The Institutions have the option to either submit the payment via cheque or bank transfer. For bank transfer, kindly provide us with the receipt as proof of payment confirmation.
 


2.3 Please note that EMGS will also resume the operations of the EMGS Call Centre on 21st March 2021.
 

2.4 Visitors must abide to the SOPs announced by the Malaysian Government including wearing a face mask and scanning a QR code using MySejahtera. Visitors are also encouraged to thoroughly clean their hands with an alcohol-based hand rub provided by EMGS when arriving and leaving the EMGS One Stop Centre.
