EMGS OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER FROM 13th JANUARY 2021

1.     PURPOSE:

1.1.   The purpose of this notice is to provide clarification to institutions regarding the Movement Control Order issued by the Malaysian Government in several states and federal territories in Malaysia to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

1.2.   Kindly note that the EMGS One-Stop Centre will remain open with minimal headcount during this period however EMGS will not be accepting passport submissions beginning 13th January 2021 until further notice. All other services will be operating as usual during this period.

1.3.   Visitors must abide to the SOPs announced by the Malaysian Government including maintaining at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between themselves and others. Visitors are also encouraged to thoroughly clean their hands with an alcohol-based hand rub provided by EMGS when arriving and leaving the EMGS One Stop Centre
