Education Malaysia Global Services (“EMGS”) wishes to announce that it has on 7.2.2020 filed a Writ Action at the Kuala Lumpur High Court against Scicom (MSC) Berhad (“Scicom”) in relation to the execution of an agreement dated 1^st November 2012 between EMGS and Scicom (“the Agreement”). In the same suit, EMGS have also named Dato’ Dr Adnan Bin Alias, Shahinuddin Bin Shariff and Mohd Yazid Bin Abd Hamid (being former officers of EMGS at the material time) (“former officers”) as joint defendants. In the said Suit, EMGS is seeking inter alia, for the High Court to declare the Agreement to be illegal, null and void as well as damages in the sum of RM24,746,736.20.
