Indonesia’s Virtual School Event 2020 is proudly organised by EMGS, in collaboration with Musyawarah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (MGBK) Jakarta and Education Malaysia Indonesia (EMI) from 2nd to 6th November 2020. It is a virtual school event involving 183 Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), both public and private schools in Indonesia, 20,000 school students, and lecturers from the 13 reputable higher education institutions in Malaysia. The virtual event will be held in East Jakarta, Indonesia.

With the aim to increase Malaysia’s visibility virtually, this virtual event provides a platform for all Malaysian’s higher education institutions to garner more impactful reach for potential students. EMGS believes that this is a step forward to promote Malaysia as the preferred international education hub.

MGBK is a teacher association under the purview of the Ministry of Education, Republic of Indonesia. In Indonesia, counselling teachers or counsellors play an important role to educate final year high school students in choosing their path to further their studies.
