Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) is a Company Limited by Guarantee (“CLBG”) under the purview of the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MoHE).
EMGS is the wing responsible for promoting Malaysia as the international education hub of choice and to position Malaysia as the preferred education destination among international students. It is also the principal body that manages the movement of international students in Malaysia, including facilitating visa processing.

EMGS operates a centralized location in Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) and Kuching, Sarawak, providing comprehensive services to international students pursuing higher education in Malaysia. This One-Stop Centre supports students enrolled in public and private universities, language schools, and training centers.
In addition to offering essential services, EMGS actively promotes Malaysian education institutions and programs globally. They organize educational tours, participate in international exhibitions and conferences, and engage in marketing and promotional activities to attract international students.
Our Board of Directors consists of individuals with varied professional backgrounds and expertise. They are responsible and accountable for the overall governance and performance of EMGS.

Novie Tajuddin is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS).
Novie previously was the CEO of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and brought with him a wealth of experience in the education industry and commercial. Before MICPA, Novie served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of EMGS and as a Director, Strategy & Engagement for Yayasan Peneraju, an agency under the Prime Minister's office. Novie has been appointed as the Education Committee Member of MARA since 2020. He was conferred as Adjunct Professor by UNITAR International University in January 2022 and appointed as the Ambassador for Faculty of Accountancy, UiTM recently.
On the commercial side, he used to be the Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Getronics Asia Pacific & Japan (Dutch Company) which oversaw operations globally including SEAs, India, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan. He held key positions in various entities such as Abeam Consulting (Japanese Company), The IA Group, MIMOS Berhad and the Board of Director of Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) (2017-2020).
He holds a Bachelor in Accounting and Finance (Hons) from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK and a Diploma in Accountancy (UiTM). He is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Fellow member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
With over 26 years of experience in General Management, Accounting & Finance, Operations, Business Development, Strategic Planning & Strategic Engagement and also in IT, Consulting & Outsourcing industry, Novie is well-versed in the area of Planning, Strategy, Engagement, Business Process, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, HR & Payroll outsourcing. Novie brings unique composition of experience in multi-nationals and local conglomerates.
Dr Abdul Razak Ahmad is the Founding Director of Bait Al Amanah, a political development think tank in Kuala Lumpur.
He is currently appointed as Special Representative of the Foreign Minister on Peace Building and Countering Islamophobia, Independent Non-Executive Director of Pharmaniaga Berhad, Chairman of Pristine Pharma, a Commissioner of PT Eritha Berhad, Indonesia and a member of the Board of Directors at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He is also a member of the Consultative Council on Foreign Policy, Ministry of Home Affairs.
He previously served as Special Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education Malaysia, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Johor and a consultant to the special consultancy team on globalisation at the National Economic Action Council (NEAC) of the Prime Minister's Department.
Abdul Razak was also a faculty member at the National Defence University Malaysia, teaching international security, international law and global affairs. He is an Adjunct Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia at present.
On the international front, Dr Abdul Razak has served as a consultant and policy advisor in international development projects in Bahrain, Libya, Tunisia, Palestine, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Timor Leste. He also used to serve as the resource person for the European Union and the World Bank on human development and human security-related issues.
He is a qualified legal counsel and received his PhD in Law and International Security from the University of Leeds, UK. He did his fellowship at East West Centre (University of Hawaii) and was a visiting researcher at Colombia University. He also attended leadership executive programmes at Said Business School (Oxford University) and Kennedy School of Government (Harvard University).
