EMGS WITH MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION TO SHOWCASE MALAYSIA’S EDUCATION AT EXPO 2020 DUBAI

Kuala Lumpur, December 9th 2021 – Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) and Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) are set to host the Education Week with the theme ‘Education for Sustainable Development’ for Malaysia Pavilion from 13th until 18th December 2021. In conjunction with the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), EMGS is the leading agency for MoHE to spearhead the Education Week in promoting and showcasing Malaysia’s education to the world.

During the Education Week, Malaysia Pavilion will be joined by participating partners from 9 Malaysia’s government agencies, 21 higher education institutions, and 6 corporate education companies. There will be a series of seminars, pocket talk sessions, agent workshops, product launches and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) throughout the week to attract investors, raise awareness and initiate potential partnerships and collaborations. By participating in this expo, EMGS hopes to gain the opportunity in increasing collaboration and exchanging new ideas with industry experts and renowned researchers to promote education for sustainability development.

We see this as a great opportunity as there will be participation by more than 190 countries worldwide, joining in for discussions and exchange solutions and innovation for the betterment of our future, particularly in the education sector.” said Mr. Mohd Radzlan bin Jalaludin, the Chief Executive Officer of EMGS.

The Education Week at Malaysia Pavilion will highlight Malaysia’s education as well as to promote the country as an international education hub globally from an official and credible Malaysia’s organisation and source. MoHE with EMGS will promote and bridge the gap between higher education institutions and potential local and international students and parents seeking information to study in Malaysia.

Expo 2020 Dubai will bring together more than 200 participants, including nations, government entities, educational establishments and the private sector, with the shared purpose of solving some of the world’s greatest challenges.

KERJASAMA EMGS DENGAN KEMENTERIAN PENGAJIAN TINGGI BAGI MEMPROMOSIKAN PENDIDIKAN MALAYSIA SEMPENA EKSPO 2020 DUBAI

 

Kuala Lumpur, 10 Disember 2021 – Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) bersama Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT) bersedia mengendalikan Pavilion Malaysia bersempena dengan Minggu Pendidikan di Ekspo 2020 Dubai bermula pada 13 hingga 18 Disember 2021 dengan tema ‘Education for Sustainable Development’. EMGS merupakan agensi di bawah KPT yang telah dilantik untuk menerajui Minggu Pendidikan dalam mempromosikan Malaysia sebagai hab pendidikan global kepada seluruh dunia.

Sepanjang Minggu Pendidikan, Pavilion Malaysia akan disertai oleh 9 agensi kerajaan, 21 institusi pengajian tinggi dan 6 syarikat korporat pendidikan dari Malaysia. Program-program yang akan dianjurkan sepanjang tempoh ekspo adalah siri seminar, sesi ‘pocket talk’, bengkel ejen, pelancaran produk dan sesi pertukaran Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU). Kesemua program ini diadakan bagi menarik lebih ramai pengunjung untuk mengenali Malaysia dengan lebih dekat serta membuka peluang dan potensi kerjasama daripada pelbagai pihak. EMGS berharap dengan adanya ekspo ini ianya dapat memberi ruang dalam meningkatkan hubungan dengan pelbagai pihak dari cetusan idea-idea dan inisiatif transformasi pendidikan ke arah kelestarian sejagat.

Menurut Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif EMGS, Encik Mohd Radzlan bin Jalaludin berkata, “EMGS amat berbesar hati di atas pelantikan sebagai agensi yang menerajui Minggu Pendidikan. Ekspo ini dilihat sebagai satu platfom yang baik dengan adanya lebih daripada 190 penyertaan dari pelbagai negara bagi bertukar-tukar pendapat dan pandangan khususnya mengenai situasi semasa pendidikan dunia”.

Minggu Pendidikan di Pavilion Malaysia akan mempromosikan Malaysia sebagai sebuah hab pendidikan antarabangsa daripada kementerian dan agensi kerajaan yang berkaitan. KPT dengan EMGS akan terus giat menjalankan aktiviti promosi pendidikan negara dengan menyampaikan maklumat-maklumat terkini secara terus kepada bakal pelajar tempatan mahupun antarabangsa yang akan melanjutkan pelajaran di Malaysia menjelang tahun 2022 akan datang.

Ekspo 2020 Dubai akan mengumpulkan penyertaan lebih daripada 190 buah negara termasuk badan dan agensi kerajaan, institusi pendidikan dan sektor swasta dengan satu tujuan yang sama dalam memastikan masa depan yang lebih terjamin dan lestari.

Mengenai Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS)

Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) adalah Syarikat Limited by Guarantee (“CLBG”) di bawah kawal selia Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia yang ditubuhkan pada 13 April 2012. Sarah Azreen Abdul Samat

Sarah has over 22 years of experience in corporate finance transactions involving equity issuance, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, corporate restructuring, and corporate valuation, amongst others. She began her career in investment banking with Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad in 2001 after obtaining her professional qualifications from PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Later in her career, she joined other investment banking institutions in Malaysia such as AmInvestment Bank Berhad, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad and RHB Investment Bank Berhad.

Presently, Sarah sits as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Reneuco Berhad and Independent Director of Pharmaniaga Berhad. She is currently the Executive Director of 3p Capital Advisers Sdn. Bhd., a company licensed with the Securities Commission Malaysia to provide advisory services to the capital market players.

Tuan Haji Ismail Bin Mohamed

Tuan Haji Ismail Mohamed sits on the Board of Director for Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). He obtains his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

Prior to sitting on the EMGS Board, he was also appointed to be the Board of Director to KEJORA from 2013 to 2018, and several companies such as Permodalan Darul Takzim Sdn Bhd, Perbadanan Usahawan Johor Sdn Bhd, PIJ Holding and Ranhil SAJ Sdn Bhd. Tuan Haji Ismail Mohamed also co-founded Pertama.

He started his career by setting up a company and being the founder of JYBB Enterprise. His career came to prominence when he became the co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Pertama Polyerethane Technology (M) Sdn Bhd and subsequently became the Special Officer to the Minister of Education in 2013.

Ismail Mohamed is acknowledged for his expertise in Agriculture and Agro-based industry, landing him being appointed as the Chairman of the Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Committee of the Johor State, the Chairman of Agro KEJORA and the Chairman of the Johor State Agriculture, Agro-based industry, Entrepreneurial Development and Cooperatives Committee.
